Dovestone

The images here are all taken around the area of Dovestone, which is a reservoir sitting below Saddleworth Moor in the Chew Valley. It is a stunningly beautiful area and locals and tourists alike enjoy walking, running or cycling around the path. The reservoir is also the home of Saddleworth Sailing Club and the clubhouse features on some of our shots. There are another three reservoirs in the area: Yeoman Hay, Greenfield and Chew. The 'lone tree' at Dovestone is a favourite subject of ours!
